Liquid Sound Design — Second Generation
2014
36 × 48 inches
Mixed media with aerosol and enamel on canvas
Created in 2014 during Everflow’s second generation of Liquid Sound Design, Cosmic Blossoms emerged from a brief but meaningful return to painting. Made inside a temporary garage studio during the beginning of a relationship he believed would last forever, the work carries both the electricity of new love and the quiet truth that even our most cherished seasons can be temporary.
Four radiant forms rise from the lower field like flowers, spirits, or energetic beings opening beneath a cosmic sky. Layers of aerosol create a luminous atmosphere of violet, blue, and turquoise, while sweeping streams of yellow, pink, white, and electric color move across the surface like sound traveling through space. The blossoms appear rooted and weightless at once—growing upward while dissolving into the surrounding frequency.
The large EVERFLOW signature is not separate from the composition. It is woven directly into the movement of the painting, becoming both a declaration of identity and a living piece of the visual rhythm. What once seemed oversized now feels essential: the artist planting his name inside a universe that was still unfolding.
Cosmic Blossoms is ultimately a meditation on beauty, love, memory, and impermanence. Some things do not remain in our lives forever, yet what they awaken within us continues to bloom.
