X-Factor

Artwork by Everflow

2026

Collection: Beauty Beneath the Chaos

Medium: Mixed media

Dimensions: 60 × 48 inches (H × W)

X-Factor emerged from the hurt of a relationship ending and the difficult work of separating another person’s judgment from one’s own sense of worth.

Across fractured color, a red heart and insistent lettering hold the tension between attachment and release. “BE FREE” becomes a declaration Everflow makes to himself—a permission to grieve, examine his own choices, and continue becoming.

Through that reflection, Everflow recognized how often he had diminished his own expression to make others comfortable. Trying to accommodate his partners, he had gradually lost touch with his own needs, instincts, and identity. His expansive creative energy became something he felt compelled to contain, until pleasing another person left him struggling to recognize himself.

Over the past two years, he has increasingly chosen solitude, finding gratitude in the space to hear his own thoughts and follow his own rhythm. Time alone has offered an opportunity to rediscover what brings him joy, take responsibility for his growth, and imagine connection without abandoning himself.

The X remains open to interpretation: a crossing of paths, an unknown, a bond interrupted. Words appear, overlap, and disappear beneath the paint, carrying things spoken, things internalized, and things finally being put down.

X-Factor holds the moment when pain begins to find a direction. Tenderness remains within the rupture, alongside a growing freedom to inhabit his life more fully.
